The Irish Global Health Network Conference was held on 26th and 27th October 2022.
Concern in Niger presented the project 'Using the CMAM Surge Approach to build health system resilience during acute malnutrition peaks, Niger' at the conference.
The poster outlines the main aspects of the Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) approach which has been implemented in partnership with the Nutrition Directorate of the Ministry of Health since 2014.
The poster affirms that as an approach to strengthening the resilience of the health system, CMAM Surge in Niger has contributed to promoting the good health and well-being of the population, especially children, by strengthening the capacity of the health facilies to anticipate, prepare and coordinate responses during acute malnutrition peaks.
